GETTING READY FOR RACE DAY

Open water swimming is an individual sport. You are responsible for your training and readiness to compete. Our suggested guidelines of training for 30% more of your race distance, and practicing skills such as alternating breathing and heads up for navigation, may not represent all of the preparation an individual competitor needs. We encourage you to seek additional coaching and guidance as you prepare for a safe and successful race.  Our course talk and google earth presentation provides a view on what is typically seen but you must be prepared for changing circumstances

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THROUGH ALL SECTIONS OF THE RACE DETAILS PRIOR TO REGISTRATION.
